More Mental Health Resources

In my last post, I only mentioned a few things that I use. Here are some more:

Tammy Anderson Ward hosts energy healing conferences. She has also taught some classes that I took part in. Here is one of her videos.

So, a big thing about energy therapy is the law of attraction, which is not something that I've been able to wrap my head around as a true thing. I don't think that the law of attraction is a law more than it is a phenomenon. I think it's something that happens like gravity. As a result, I've changed the way I think, the way I talk, and the way I behave in life. I think that the way we think about life plays a huge role in what we experience. If we are thinking, talking, and acting negatively then we are going to condition those around us, including inanimate objects and particles, even viruses to behave in a way that interacts with us in the same way. If we are consistent in practicing a more positive way of thinking, then speaking, and also acting, then we are going to have experiences with the world around us in a very different and positive way. So in that way, I do believe in the law of attraction. I think changing the way we are on the inside will affect our life on the outside. Here are some things I've changed:

I've omitted the following words from my vocabulary:
struggle, hate, can't, disability, better, best, (many comparison words), never, bad, etc. -- it's an ongoing list -- AND-- It's a work in progress it's not like these words never show up in my vocabulary, but I am making a conscious effort to change over time. That's the key. Changing and learning new ways takes time and practice.

I've created playlists:

I've also created playlists to support each Chakra, but those I've set to private.

Some other things I've done comes from a class that Tammy taught. She taught a class called Reset Your Vibe and Ripples of light. She taught us to do a practice called Find-it Flip-it. This is where you get in touch with all of the negative self-talk statements that are currently running in your mind. Write them out on a piece of paper (with the intent to burn later). Then for each negative statement, you write 3 positive counterstatements. When you are done, you burn the negatives. And there are many things you can do with the positive ones. Record them in your voice so you can listen to them later.

Then there's the vision board. I never made one until her class. I just created mine with an iPad app.

I'm supposed to post it in a place where I can see it all the time, so it's the home screen of my phone.

I can't ever see the far left side. So, now I can reach it via this blog.
